Answers to common questions about reviewing contracts, using templates, understanding the outputs, and knowing when to ask for legal advice.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is AnyContract.ai for?

AnyContract.ai is built for anyone handling contracts, including founders, operators, freelancers, buyers, landlords, and small teams. You do not need to be a lawyer to use it. The goal is to help you understand what you are signing before you decide what to do next.

How do I review my contract?

Go to the contract review page, upload your file, and let the tool extract the text. Then choose the contract type, your role, and governing law if you know them. The review usually takes a minute or two and gives you a plain-English summary, key risks, missing protections, and export-ready outputs.

What do I get after the review?

You get three practical outputs: a PDF report for sharing, a negotiation memo for organizing your response, and a redline you can keep editing in Word or WPS. The page also shows a structured summary so you can understand the contract before exporting anything.

Are contract templates legally binding?

Templates are starting points, not one-size-fits-all legal advice. Whether a template works for you depends on your facts, your negotiation, and the law that applies. If the contract matters financially or legally, you should still review it carefully and get legal advice where needed.

Will my information be stored?

We treat uploaded contracts as sensitive documents. Files are processed for review, and your workspace may retain outputs that are tied to your account experience, such as saved history and exports. Do not upload documents unless you are comfortable using an online review tool for that material.

What contract types are supported?

You can review many common contract types, including freelance contracts, service agreements, NDAs, employment agreements, lease agreements, partnership agreements, consulting contracts, and more. If you are unsure, upload the contract anyway and select the closest contract type.

How do I download contract templates?

Go to the template library, choose the contract you want, and open the template page. From there, you can view the content and download the file. Templates are useful when you need a starting point or want to compare your draft against a cleaner baseline.

Do I need to be a lawyer to use the review?

No. The review is designed to be understandable for non-lawyers. It helps you spot what looks risky, what seems one-sided, and what may be missing. If the contract is high-stakes, regulated, or unusual, you should still use the outputs as preparation and then involve a qualified lawyer.

How much does contract review cost?

Templates are free to browse and download. Contract review is paid. You can choose a single review if you only need help once, or a monthly plan if you handle contracts regularly.

How do I resolve technical issues?

If something is not working, refresh the page, check your internet connection, and try again. If the issue continues, email support@anycontract.ai with a short description of the problem and, if possible, the file type you were uploading.
